Okoboji Performing Arts is a 501c3 non-profit that believes a community as well endowed with natural beauty, abundant resources, and a thriving community as the Iowa Great Lakes deserves a diverse cultural experience.
We believe this experience combines world class performing arts entertainment with a robust and inspired arts education for all ages.
Our team grew up in the Iowa Great Lakes and enjoyed the fruits of excellent performing arts education in school and ample opportunities to share that education with the community. We endeavor to continue that tradition and enhance the experience of the community with more excellent Art.

Jessica Schable - Academy Director
Jessica Schable is a voice and piano instructor with 20 years experience in music education. She is known throughout the Iowa Great Lakes for her proficient piano skills accompanying an array of local community and school ensembles. She owns and operates Jessica Schable Music Studio in downtown Milford catering to over 60 students in both voice and piano. Jessica directs the Okoboji Music Masters choir, leads music at area churches, and directs the Grace United Methodist Church choir in Spencer.
John Moore - Presents Director
John Moore is an internationally recognized operatic baritone. He resides in Minneapolis and makes frequent return trips to the Okoboji area to perform. John has performed opera in New Orleans, Kansas City, Austin and Atlanta. He sings recitals in New York, London and Philadelphia and concert appearances in Jacksonville, Florida and St Paul, Minnesota.
